OUR VISION
United Rwanda, where the post-1994 generation breaks the cycle of silence to claim a future of absolute freedom.
We envision a nation where human dignity is sacred, speech flows without fear, and leaders serve as public servants rather than rulers. By transforming digital and physical spaces into sanctuaries of truth and solidarity, we are pioneering a transparent society where no citizen is exiled, silenced, or intimidated. We look forward to a Rwanda defined not by enforced stability, but by genuine peace, where youth lead with courage and the people truly own their nation.
MILLENZMOVENT RW
“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to people.”
THE MILLENZ MANIFESTO
A New Generation Refuses to Inherit Fear
We are MillenZMovementRw a generation born during and after 1994. Raised in the shadow of trauma and shaped by silence, we are now actively choosing courage over fear.
We are NOT politicians.
We are NOT funded by any party.
We are NOT driven by hate.
We are driven by FREEDOM.
Rwanda belongs to its people—not to any single individual, party, or military force. Every Rwandan deserves to live without fear. A government that truly has the support of its people is not afraid of criticism.
Patriotism is defined by a love for truth, rather than the worship of leaders. All Rwandans, including those in the diaspora, have both the right and the duty to speak out and criticize the government. This should never result in death, imprisonment, or torture at the hands of the government.
The Rwanda genocide was a horrific disaster, and it is everyone's responsibility to stand against any ideology that could lead to a similar genocide.Millenzmovement will not allow anyone to deny or manipulate our history for political purposes. It is essential to acknowledge the true events of our past and not allow anyone to rewrite or distort this history.
Our country, Rwanda.
Reject the dictatorship of Kagame. As one voice, let us claim a bright future for Rwanda.
It is everyone's responsibility to stand against evil through activism, awareness, and by ensuring that the mistakes of the past do not repeat themselves. We must recognize that not every revolution leads to democracy. Rwanda has experienced this firsthand during the events of 1959, 1973 under Habyarimana, and 1994 under Kagame.
We need to be honest: democracy falters when a government controls the media, the private sector, and transportation; monopolizes leadership; operates above the law; eliminates free speech; and cultivates an ignorant, manipulated youth.
Currently, Rwanda's history is written to praise Kagame while denying the right to mourn for Hutu victims and others who died during and after the genocide. These deaths do not fit into the narrative of the Kagame regime, which has used the genocide to silence its own people.
Furthermore, we must resist the enforced displacement of political opponents and the assassination of those who stand against the government. Ultimately, we seek true reconciliation for all Rwandans, ensuring equal justice for everyone who lost their lives during the genocide, as well as those who were killed by the current or previous governments, or by anyone else.
The Phases of Dictatorship in Rwanda Under the RPF
“I agree that there was a genocide by Hutu extremists against the Tutsis, that is the reality. The people who did this need to face justice. But there were also other crimes against humanity, including the killing of Hutus.”
